James & Sons Tobacconist was founded in 2007 by James Kommer as a family-owned and operated business in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs. Over the years, we have become more than just a cigar shop, we are a cornerstone of the horseracing community, proudly serving as the exclusive cigar vendor for New York Racing Association (NYRA) and sharing in the excitement of every summer meet. Our long-standing presence in Saratoga Springs has allowed us to forge lasting relationships with patrons who have become like family.

For years, the Kommer family cherished their visits to Southwest Florida, imagining what it would be like to bring the same level of luxury and passion for cigars to this vibrant region. After years of conversation and planning, the “sons” took the leap, turning dream into reality.
